Prewar aerial photo of Pasay. This is in the late 1930’s when the seashore was reclaimed and Dewey Boulevard widened. The white patch on the upper left is the reclamation of the area for the American High Commissioner’s residence, now the U.S. Embassy. where the Quirino Grandstand is now located. The American High Commissioner’s residence hasn’t been built yet.
