First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos, the companion official portrait also by the Indonesian painter Baseki Abdullah. Mrs. Marcos wears the collar of the Order of the Golden Heart, 1st Class, and the sash and star of the Order of Gabriela Silang, as well as several foreign decorations. This portrait was displayed side by side with that of President of Marcos in government offices and buildings during the New Society period (1973-1981).
