Some of them told that they do not remember any severe typhoon which had passed in Lucban at that time. An old man had informed me however that on the typhoon which had passed in Lucban in 1890 which he considers to be the strangest and most severe typhoon which had ever visited Tayabas he saw some balls of fire in the sky during the said typhoon.
