- President Marcos delivered the Most SONAs. He delivered 20 SONAs.
- President Sergio Osmeña delivered the least number of SONAs. He delivered only 1 SONA, in 1945.
- President Elpidio Quirino was the only President not to deliver a SONA in front of Congress when he was confined in Johns Hopkins Hospital in the US: he delivered his SONA over the radio.
- Presidents Aguinaldo and Laurel were the only Presidents never to deliver a SONA. The Constitutions they served under did not require or provide for a SONA.
- Since 1936, when the first SONA was delivered, there were only 4 years when a SONA was not delivered. World War II: 1942, 1943, 1944; and the year of the EDSA Revolution: 1986.
